Ohio State and Indiana Trade Huge Touchdown Runs in Surprisingly Good Game

This is a slobber-knocker. Which is kind of surprising.

Indiana is hanging around with the reigning National Champs and current No. 1 team in the country, trailing the Buckeyes by seven with under two minutes to play in the game. It's not for a lack of effort on the Buckeyes' part, or at least Ezekial Elliot's part, anyway. He's rattled off 268 yards in the game—almost of all of it in the second half—and three touchdowns. Those touchdowns have all been huge runs of 55, 65, and 75 yards.

The second touchdown run in the video above looked for a second like it was going to be the end of the Hoosiers, who had just cut the lead to seven with a 34-yard field goal. the very next play from scrimmage, Elliot broke off his longest run of the day for 75 yards and a score. There was a questionable no-holding call as pointed out by the booth, but as it turns out it didn't really matter because Indiana got it right back.

On Indiana's very next play from scrimmage, quarterback Zander Diamont rushed for a 79-yard touchdown. Ohio State's possession took 13 seconds, and Indiana's was 21 seconds. Indiana is still trailing but has the ball as the the clock winds down.

Update: Of course it ended on a bad snap. Indiana made it close, and Diamont did his best to get this throw off, but in the end this 4th and goal from the eight wound up feeling more like a hail mary.
