Slipknot's Corey Taylor is well-known for wearing a mask, though in his appearance on this week's episode of VICELAND's The Therapist, he finally lets it slip. In a deleted scene from the show (watch above), Taylor talks about the significance of choosing a new mask to define his emotions over the course of an album cycle. He also opens up about the importance of music to his process of mourning after the death of Slipknot member Paul Gray, and his frequent inability to let his emotions show all the way.

Taylor talks with therapist Dr. Siri Sat Nam Singh, who has previously sat down with rappers Freddie Gibbs and Waka Flocka Flame. You can see more of their conversation tonight on VICELAND.

The Therapist airs Monday nights at 1030pm EST on VICELAND.
