"You don't need to be bulletproof to be a superhero." Black women have always had superpowers; turning pain into progress. Judging by season two of Luke Cage, Harlem doesn't need any hero, it needs a queen.

In the final trailer for the second season of Marvel's Luke Cage, Mariah Dillard is faced with a formidable, imminent, and Jamaican threat in the unstoppable Bushmaster. Armed with all her secrets, our new villain played by Mustafa Shakir (The Deuce, Brawl in Cell Block 99), endangers everything Ms. Dillard holds dear. Meanwhile the bulletproof black man Cage wrestles with the idea of intervening and protecting his former adversary for the good of Harlem. In this final preview of season two, we're given a closer look at Luke's new opposition, who is surprise surprise, also bulletproof. With all ends going at each other, Luke's gotta decide if the enemy of his enemy is really his friend.

If you're into seeing a few more bullet ridden hoodies, catch season two of Marvel’s Luke Cage globally on Netflix June 22
