Cian Oba-Smith's Photos Will Make You Feel So Alone

So why not check them out?

Cian Oba-Smith is a photographer from London, who is currently in the final year of a photography degree in Bristol. I like his pictures because each of them seems to capture a moment in time when the sun turned to shine on one specific moment. There's something very lonely and disengaged and at the same time warm about Cian's photography, that makes me feel kinda strong.

But who the fuck cares what I think? Here's what Cian has to say about himself:

"Making pictures forms a part of my daily life and is informed by instantaneous encounters and moments with strangers and close friends alike. My 'project' work is often centred on incredibly personal parts of my life and those around me. I predominantly shoot analogue using a mixture of 35mm, medium and large format film – depending on what I feel works best with the project I am focused on. My most recent project took me to Iceland, where a few of these photos were taken."
