As the founder of Strike Gently Co, I deal in pins and patches daily. The Creators Project asked me to pull together a weekly roundup of the best newly-released pins. Most of these will probably sell out. If you like them, smash that “add to cart” button. Every Wednesday, you can head to the bottom of this article for an exclusive discount code so you can keep your pin game sharp.

This week, I was walking around my Brooklyn neighborhood when I spied a woman wearing a backpack completely covered in colorful pins, all aesthetically matched and sorted. It looked awesome. I still don’t see that many people wearing pins or patches, so whenever I do, I end up staring at them to the point where they probably think I'm some pervert. Seeing this enamel-outfitted backpack in all its glory was a moment of inspiration. When I noticed one of my own pins on there, my excitement only grew. One of this week’s pins was even on there—though I won’t say which. You have to read the whole article. Once you do, there’s also a discount code at the end, good for 20% off at Strike Gently Co.

Mood Poison

Everyone loves David Lynch. Many of the same people who love quirky enamel pins, in fact, absolutely love Blue Velvet, Eraserhead, and Mulholland Drive. No one completely understands what Lynch is doing in his work, which allows anyone the opportunity to get laid at a bar in Brooklyn pontificating on the significance of Frank Booth’s gas mask, or the severed ear. Wear this one loud and proud while you sip a Pabst Blue Ribbon.

No Direction

Nirvana produced the kind of variety of iconic images that 90s kids will continue to wear well into their 30’s, but this is undoubtedly my favorite. The cover from In Utero will last—let this pin help you keep its legacy alive.

Pin Conceivable

There are countless stupid meme pins: cavalcades of Pepes; Doges aplenty. I haven’t seen a Dat Boi pin yet, but I’m sure it’s en route to someone’s apartment from a factory in China. This is a more deep-cut meme, though, and the pin came out far better than anyone could expect. What a time to be alive: You can see a photo of a knockoff backpack on the internet and have it turned into a product which then goes right on your own backpack. Talk about an ouroboros.

Dropped Pin

This was an old biker pin that Dropped Pin brought back. It’s beautiful, and I don’t even smoke weed. Buy it for your dad as a gift in hopes that he’ll tell you stories of the days when weed was cheap, weak, and you could smoke a fat doobie while riding your hog with your lady, brother.

PSA Press

This is supposed to contain something about art besides my oft-repeated phrase that pins are cheap wearable art objects, so here we go. Who doesn’t like a nice booty? Who doesn’t like Picasso? I guess I could name a few dozen collegiates who vehemently despise both of those statements, but too bad. This is a cool pin.
