Here's a Brand New Track from Hawtin Protegé Heartthrob

Heartthrob's ISNISNT imprint will release the producer's 'Someone Called Again' EP in April.

For about five years, Heartthrob (aka Jesse Siminski) was the exclusive property of Richie Hawtin's imprint M_nus. Well, perhaps it didn't own the Michigan-bred minimal producer, but it was the sole outpost for his music—until he released a record with Jamie Jones and Lee Foss's Hot Creations label. Those are some big co-signs for Siminski, who recently moved to Berlin and launched his own record label, ISNISNT. So far, he has released one of his own records, and now he's gearing up to unleash a follow-up effort, a four-track EP titled Someone Called Again, on April 1. "Cougar Juice (Riding Past The Jail Mix)," which you can peep below, crams quite a few weird sounds into a straightforward minimal tech-house stomp and snare formula: little synth farts flirt with computerized bleep-bloops and googly-eyed chord stabs.
