Carl Cox, Kate Simko, Rrose, and More to Play Detroit's 2017 Movement Festival

The festival shared its first-wave lineup ahead of its return Memorial Day Weekend.

Ahead of its return to Hart Plaza during Memorial Day Weekend (May 27-29, 2017), Detroit's Movement festival today released the first wave of its lineup.

Carl Cox has been announced as Monday's main stage headliner, while providing support over the extended weekender are DJs Kerri Chandler, The Belleville Three (the techno-pioneering trio of Derrick May, Juan Atkins, and Kevin Saunderson, the latter of whom will also be performing live under his E-Dancer moniker) making their festival debut, Nicole Moudaber, Dixon, Kate Simko, Leon Vynehall, Claude VonStroke under his hip-hop-oriented alias Barclay Crenshaw, and others. Bringing their live performances to the stage are Robert Hood, Paranoid London, Rrose, Dopplereffekt, and Larry Heard as Mr. Fingers.
