Watch Chance the Rapper Parody Run-D.M.C. and Celebrate Final Christmas Under Obama in “Jingle Barack”

“Even Kanye is endorsing him / Got Barack back smoking Newports again.”

Chance the Rapper was perfect on SNL last night, inviting Francis and the Lights and Noname onstage to perform "Same Drugs" and "Finish Line/Drown," doing all the right Christmas things as he went. On top of his performances, Chance also jumped onto a sketch that'll go down as one of the current season's funniest and brightest.

"Jingle Barack," a parody of Run-D.M.C's 1987 track "Christmas in Hollis," featured Chance rapping alongside SNL stars Kenan Thompson and Leslie Jones, preparing for a final Christmas with Barack Obama as President before the White House is turned over to a racist, misogynistic, right-wing lump of moral detritus.

Chance referenced Kanye West's depressing recent appearance with Trump, rapping, "Even Kanye is endorsing him / Got Barack back smoking Newports again." But the performance is peppered with similarly brilliant lines, like Chance saying he's going to hurt himself before he loses Obamacare and Leslie Jones spending a good 45 seconds on her sexual attraction to Joe Biden. The sketch even closes with cameos from Rev Run and DMC.
