In their first match since sacking Claudio Ranieri, Leicester have jumped out to a 2-0 lead over the now reeling Liverpool. Jamie Vardy got the scoring started with a 28th-minute goal, but we are here for Danny Drinkwater absolutely smoking a volley past Simon Mignolet from some considerable distance.
The two clubs are on opposite sides of the table, and now possibly opposite sides of momentum. Leicester are currently in the relegation zone, one season after winning the whole damn thing, but would climb out if the score holds. Liverpool on the other hand, once looked like title contenders, but find themselves outside of the Top 4 and slipping.
