A 'Stranger Things' Motown Medley Would Be Better Without James Corden

The crew from your favorite Netflix show stopped by your least favorite late night show last night.

On Wednesday’s episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden, the Stranger Things kids (otherwise known as Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Noah Schnapp) appeared alongside Corden in a skit where the boys reunited their Motown cover band that never was. The band never turned into a thing because fortunately the boys got the callbacks that would lead to their starring roles in the hit Netflix series. Together, they took to the stage to perform a charming medley of hits featuring renditions of “I Want You Back” and “My Girl,” complete with choreography and matching suits—making for what might be the weirdest fever dream to ever come true. The resulting performance is already impossibly cute, but if you can manage to pretend Corden isn’t there, it’s even better. Watch the video above.
