Misanthropic Michigan post-punks Protomartyr have reared their heads again recently, recording one of the most confrontational anti-Turmp songs for the brilliant Our First 100 Days project in "Sweeney Ashtray." Though there's no official talk of a follow-up to 2015's acclaimed The Agent Intellect, the four-piece have announced a string of festival appearances through the summer and some extra shows through the fall.In the latest episode of the Galaxy Barn Series takes us back to last summer, though, with the band performing the exhausting and exhaustive "Dope Cloud" at Oregon's Pickathon Festival. Greg Ahee's guitar is a frothing whirl when the chorus kicks in and Joe Casey's voice is as sardonic and perfectly tinged with cynicism as it is on record.
