SBTRKT's New Collab-Heavy Album Might Just Save the Damn World

After unleashing a crunchy track with R&B mystic, The Dream, earlier this week, the masked man known as SBTRKT has swooped back in to share news of a new album project titled Save Yourself. The first major multi-track release since the drop of his 2014 album, Wonder Where We Land, the new project revolves mostly around collaboration—long-time vocal confident Sampha guests on one tune, as well as The-Dream, on three. In the album's press statement, the artist said that the record is a reflection of his mood about the world and society: "As an artist it feels strange to me to create simply happy music without being effected by current world affairs," he said.

Considering the grimly turbulent week our world at large has endured, hopefully the artist's classically vibey, soul-soaked beats can shine a bit of optimism into the mix.
