Tap Into Your Inner Animal With Peking Duk's New Video

Check out the exclusive premiere of the video for "High."

It seems like music videos are usually pretty confusing. Many of them have little storyline and make no earthly sense whatsoever, as is the case with the clip for "High" by Australian duo Peking Duk. There's an implied narrative here—some people pull up to a wooded area and park their cars—but after that it gets a little more abstract. The characters don animal costumes, venture into the midst of the trees, and then it seems as though they run around hunting each other, frolicking in the woods, and perhaps enacting some secret ritual. There's obviously some deep social commentary going on about how huge drum buildups, heavily-layered anthemic vocals, and soaring synths activate our animalistic natures.
