On Thursday, Donald Trump's transition team finalized the names of the president-elect's incoming communications team, naming Sean Spicer, the longtime communications director for the RNC, as press sectary, Politico reports.

Jason Miller, the transition team's communications director, will stay on as White House communications director, joining Trump campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks, who will serve as strategic communications director. Dave Scavino will stay on as the head of Trump's social media and facilitate the transition from @realDonaldTrump to @POTUS.

"Sean, Hope, Jason and Dan have been key members of my team during the campaign and transition," Trump said in a statement. "I am excited they will be leading the team that will communicate my agenda that will Make America Great Again."

For his part, Trump has not held a press conference in 147 days, causing many to question how his administration and new communications team will handle the media. Trump's chief of staff Reince Priebus said this week that this administration would be making some changes to the White House press corps traditions.

"I think that many things have to change, and I think that it's important that we look at all of those traditions that are great, but quite frankly, as you know, don't really make news," Priebus told radio host Hugh Hewitt last Wednesday. "Even looking at things like the daily White House briefing from the press secretary, I mean, there's a lot of different ways that things can be done, and I can assure you we're looking at that."
