Rosio Sanchez has changed the taco game in Copenhagen. The Chicago-born chef is the owner of Hija de Sanchez, where the moles, paletas, and tacos al pastor are made with skill, love, and appreciation for authentic Mexican recipes. In this episode of Chef's Night Out, Rosio cooks up a taco feast for her friends before they head out on the town in Copenhagen. They start off on a sweet note with boozy cocktails and banana splits at Balderdash, before picking up takeaway burgers at local hotspot Gasoline Grill. They bring the burgers and mezcal with them as they board a small boat that takes them around Copenhagen harbor. Amid shooting canons and late-summer sunshine, they pick up crudités and chicken skin at restaurant 108 before docking at the wine bar La Banchina.
Back on shore, the girls head over to Fiskebaren in the meatpacking district, where they work their way through an elaborate fish dinner that spans from oysters to mackerel. Rosio then leads the crowd as they walk a few steps over to Hija de Sanchez, where they finish the night off in style with "dirty" tacos, more mezcal, and impromptu dancing.
