Vinyl Nerds Rejoice: David Bowie's Posthumous "No Plan" EP Will Get a Physical Release

Pre-order your 'Limited Edition Made-to-Order Die-Cut White Vinyl 12" with Exclusive Artwork Lithograph' now!

Today is a good day for Bowie fans and record nerds alike (though maybe that's a Venn diagram with a fair bit of overlap), as his posthumous EP No Plan – initially released digitally on January 10 – has been announced for a physical release.  The release will be staggered over the next few months, with different formats available at different intervals. The first to be released will be the CD version, on February 24, followed by a black 12" vinyl on April 12, and finally something impressive-sounding called a "Limited Edition Made-to-Order Die-Cut White Vinyl 12" with Exclusive Artwork Lithograph" on May 26. All of the formats are currently available for pre-order. The EP itself is comprised of three tracks from Bowie's musical Lazarus, along with Blackstar's "Lazarus" (confusing we know.) All of the songs were recorded during the sessions for Blackstar, and back in January a video for the title track "No Plan" was released to coincide with the EP's digital release.
