Johannesburg area skaters and Levi’s® went back to pump more new blood into Skate World, after the build it got about a year ago. They organized a skate jam with a few competitions built into it that jammed alongside a smaller DIY build, improvising different bits and pouring more transition around the park. There was a 3,500 Rand First Prize for the day’s sessions, and a bunch of Levi’s Skateboarding® gear awarded as prizes too. As you’ll see, the big four was hard to stick, but people we’re slaying around on everything else, like nollie-flip back tail fakie, NB deal. What’s exciting about the physical spot is that it’s a golden junker that keeps getting new extensions and body parts, and we’ll have to see if it’s transformed even more a year from today.
