Jumpstart Your Vinyl Library By Purchasing One From a Haçienda DJ

The whole collection includes 8,000 records.

Someone notify Paul Mawhinney — another DJ is selling his library.

According to Vinyl Factory, Haçienda DJ Buckley Boland is selling off his 8,000+ collection of vinyl. The decision was almost a knee-jerk reaction to another Haçienda DJ — the music writer Dave Haslam — sale of his 4,000 plus collection to DJ Seth Troxler that we reported on a couple of weeks ago. That purchase was in the spirit of, in Troxler's words " the transfer of one working DJ to another; and the fact that I will be presenting to people around the world as they were intended to be heard."

After the sale, Boyland took to his Facebook: "ok i see hacienda dj dave haslam as [sic] sold his record collection to Seth Troxler and its got my thinking?? i have around 8.000 that im thinking of selling ….anyone who knows me knows that all the killers from late 80's to around 2007 are in there before i made the switch to digital………….serious offers??"

Update: Boyland has posted that the collection must be purchased in its entirety.
