This is art that defies conventions, challenges sensibilities, and breaks the walls down between around both critique and understanding. You might like it—you might not "get it." But we do. Turn on, take a deep breath, and just remember: it's art!
On her Twitter, Jeanette Hayes says, "i'm an artist in nyc - people i may remind you of: Ivanka Trump/ Joan Rivers/ Heidi Montag/ Donatella Versace/ Jonbenet Ramsey/ Tamar Braxton/ Jeff Koons [sic]." She's also known for her oil paintings of the internet. Her new Halloween collection on DIY self publishing platform NewHive features a skeleton in an office chair, Britney Spears, and horrifiying chainsaw sound effects.

i freaking hate being scared
these newhives arent scary
theyre just like spooky
