Alabama Shakes released the album of their career last year with Sound & Color, and they're still burning down stages with singer/guitarist Brittany Howard's full-body exuberance and her ace band's taut Southern rock, as evidenced by their blistering season opening turn on Austin City Limits. The season 41 premiere just dropped this weekend, and you can watch Brittany and the boys rip through singles and deep cuts alike, touting a setlist that traverses sprightly early album cuts like "Dunes" and "Future People" while also making room for the contemplative "This Feeling" and album centerpiece "Gimme All Your Love." Stream the episode, which also features a performance from LA soul maestros Vintage Trouble, below and peep a devastating web exclusive rendition of the Shakes deep cut "Gemini" right here. (via)
