Donnie Trumpet and the Social Experiment and Singer Moxie Raia Salute Frank Sinatra with "La Luna"

Ol' Blue Eyes would've turned 100 today.

Today is the hundred anniversary of the birth of Frank Sinatra, and whether or not you have ever been touched personally by the musical (or theatrical) talents of Ol' Blue Eyes, he was a legend. To commemorate the occasion, Donnie Trumpet and the Social Experiment dropped a nugget on their Soundcloud called "La Luna," in collaboration with up-and-coming jazz singer Moxie Raia. "La Luna" is a cover of the 1950s standard "Fly Me to the Moon," famously covered by Sinatra in 1964 (that would go on to become the first piece of music played on the moon, thanks to Buzz Aldrin). The SoX version is woolly, Auto-Tuned hip-hop psych powered by the magic of Moxie's voice and the increasing blippy madness of Donnie's production. Stream "La Luna" below.
