Let Saint Pè (Ex-Black Lips) Lure You into Dancing In The Street Under "Street Lights"

If you like Black Lips you will like Saint Pè, the new solo project of former Black Lips guitarist Ian Saint Pè. It's got that dirty south garage flavor, those whoop / yelling / singing vocals that remind you of Warren Zevon. But instead of the Black Lips's jangly garage-attack, Saint Pè is a little bit poppier… maybe even a little bit sunny? And gone are the Atlanta vibes, replaced with the bouncy jubilation of New Orleans, which is now Ian's homebase. Give me an Abita Strawberry if it’s early in the day or an Abita Amber if it’s getting dark out, put this Saint Pè on blast, and everything will just be fine. Easy music for easy living.
