Swear Allegiance to 'An Oath of Blood and Fire,' the Crushing Debut EP from Triumvir Foul

Triumvir Foul is a brand-new project, raw and largely untested, but as I've said before, there's a lot of potential there (and I'll be damned if I can get the world-eating grooves on "Silence Continuum" out of my head). It doesn't hurt that the two forces behind it have spent time in underground USBM royalty Ash Borer, Urzeit, and Servile Sect, or that said duo certainly know their way around an Autopsy riff.

An Oath of Blood and Fire goes so far as to include a bonafide Autopsy cover—"Embalmed"—but the real juice in this EP comes from the dynamic interplay between the squealing solos and irrepressible old school chug. Sprinkle in some disembodied OUGHs, and you've got yourself sixteen minutes of hell.

The demo was originally released digitally in 2014, but Godz of War and Third Eye Temple have teamed up to give it the vinyl treatment. It's available for preorder here (with a new March 20th release date) and you can try-before-you-buy the damn thing right here:
