Rap Clocks Remembers How Long MC's Are In Jail For So You Don't Have To

So you can see just how long Beanie Sigel and others are incarcerated for. Down to the second.

Unfortunately, rap and incarceration can sometimes go hand in hand, be it Weezy pleading guilty for having a gun cuddled up to his legs under his jeans or when Slick Rick got nicked for attempted murder back in 1990. Having them all locked up can make you forget how long they'll be institutionalised with limited Kleenex.

Rap Clocks seemingly cropped up out of the ether to help. The website counts down the prison sentences of all your favourite rappers; right down to the second for the pernickety folks. You can even buy music from it.

While the site's roster includes Lauryn Hill and Fat Joe’s well documented tax evasion-related stints, it also notes some of the lesser known names populating blocks in US prisons. Houston's South Park Mexican was convicted for aggravated sexual assault of a child so he won't be getting parole until at least 2024, for instance. Then there's the host of shoulda-woulda-coulda lost talents like Bump J, who could of been the next Chicago golden boy if a robbery conviction hadn't strangled his hype. The dashes under the names of C-Murder and Philly’s Hilltop Hustler, Steady B, indicate that they won't be seeing daylight, ever.

On the brightside, we don't have too long until Beanie Sigel and Remy Ma taste freedom again. It just sucks that rap disciples will still have a few "what ifs" to ponder over.
