Friday Thinks... With Luke Winkie - Hey, Ever Noticed Lots Of Indie Rockers Look Like Cereal Mascots?

Cultural forms tend to crop up throughout history, and also it's Friday so fuck it.

Human archetypes often follow the same patterns as cultural forms. Which is to say that we as people are consistently drawn to the same shapes, the same angles, manifesting themselves in our subconscious and in our culture. We're attracted to genres of people, the entanglement of personality and human structure that naturally informs us where to plot someone on our graph of character traits.

Strangely enough, the best example of this phenomenon represents itself in indie rockers tending to look like breakfast cereal mascots.
