You Can Now Purchase the Abominable Sneakers That Kanye Wore on the Yeezus Tour

Mask not included with purchase.

If you watched the gradiose opera spectacle that is the Yeezus tour and thought to yourself, Where can I get Kanye's abominable sneakers?, you're in luck because they just hit the market. Ye's pony-hair boots, designed specially for his Yeezus wardrobe by Maison Martin Margiela have just landed on the design house's website for $975. Yes, you could have bought almost 28 of Kanye's Wes Lang-designed, skeletons and confederate flag-themed t-shirts for that amount but this is the price you have to pay to dress like a God. For that, it's a drop in the ocean, really. Plus, it's on the lower end of Kanye's past footwear: the first shoe he sold, in collaboration with Giuseppe Zanotti, went for $5800, the second pair sold for $1695, and his impossible-to-buy Red Octobers were being resold on eBay for up to $16.3 million. Sadly, Margiela isn't throwing in a mask with purchase.

If you're trying to wrap your head around how you'd wear them and need outfit inspo, Kanye wore the Italian-made, pony-hair shoes with a pair of ripped grey parachute pants, a black crystal-ecrusted mask, and a bomber jacket with no shirt. But furry shoes are so in right now, you wouldn't even draw that much attention on the streets. Acne has an even muppet-ier version for less at $620 and, two years ago, Céline—Kanye's go-to brand for silk women's shirts—showed mink heels and shower slides on their runway for spring 2013.

Now, "Where to purchase one of Kanye's masks?" is the question.
