Featuring ex and current members of Yeasayer, People Get Ready, Doug Gillard & Pterodactyl, you wouldn't have any indication that Brooklyn's Beech Creeps would go so strong in Melvins influence as they would. In fact, the first verse of "Sun of Sud" has some of the same Buzzo swagger of middle period Melvins, complete with richter-scale-measurable guitars and tons of attitude. The song in full is decidedly more psychedelic and out there, much like the new video. Check that out above and look for the LP on March 3 via Monofonus.
