Fox is reviving The X-Files for a six-episode run set to premiere in January 2016, and they just started production. There has been a lot of cell phone pictures by the cast and crew teasing the new show, but Fox just released the first real shot of Mulder and Scully on camera while show creator Chris Carter watches on. Along with David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, who are reprising their lead roles, supporting characters like the Cigarette Smoking Man are also signed on to star, and Community star Joel McHale will be playing a new role as conservative news anchor and unlikely ally for Mulder.
