Good morning, America. Welcome to the VICE Sports World News Roundup. Be sure to stop by daily for your morning headlines.

It's the 19th of August, 2015, and Sepp Blatter is still president of FIFA.

FIFA is set to meet with its major sponsors tomorrow. In the wake of FIFA's latest scandal, both VISA and Coca Cola have both put pressure on the organization to reform.

The Bundesliga's U.S. television debut on Fox probably disappointed the league office. Just 54,000 people watched the league opener between FC Bayern and Hamburger SV on Friday (Link in German). The weekend games did a little better, but the Premier League's match between Chelsea and Man City attracted well over ten times as many American viewers.

Some wild transfer action to report: Multiple outlets in both Germany and England are reporting Manchester United has made a whopping 60 million pound bid for Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller. Also, Chelsea appeared to have swooped in to pluck Pedro from Barcelona.

The International Association of Athletics Federations has a new president. Reeling from the scandal in the wake of leaked documents suggesting the organization covered up a number of positive doping tests, Sebastian Coe, an English politician and former Olympic medal winner, has been tasked with putting the organization on a less scandal-filled path.

Dafabet, an online bookmaker and sponsor of Premier League team Sunderland, has listed Sunderland as the favorite to get relegated from the Premier League this season.

Luis Gorosito and Alejandro Molina, two players for Necaxa, a club in Mexico's second division, were arrested for beating a young man. From the Guardian:

"Prosecutors in the central state of Aguascalientes said the incident began when the suspects made catcalls at a young woman outside a bar in the state capital of the same name.

"The 22-year-old victim defended her, and the players allegedly got out of their car and punched and kicked him in front of witnesses."

Maria Sharapova and Venus Williams both pulled out of the Cincinnati Masters because of injuries.
