Started by Aurora Halal and Zara Wladawsky in 2014, New York's Sustain-Release has gained a reputation for being one of the most unique and carefully curated small electronic festivals in North America, with this year's edition being no exception. The organizers announced the lineup for the upstate three-day event today, and it includes performances from house pioneer and transgender activist DJ Sprinkles, Cologne-based techno selector Lena Willikens, veteran Glasgow duo Optimo, Drexciya-affiliated DJ Stingray, Voiski, Container, and Discwoman's Umfang.
