This Four Day Techno Campout Insists You Remember To Eat

Âme, DJ Tennis, Blond:ish, M.A.N.D.Y., Tim Sweeney and DJ Three top the Members Campout bill.

While the rest of the Internet argues over the legitimacy of West Coast transformational festival Further Future and it's $250-a-plate dinner offerings, Bushwick after-hours party promoters Members Only have announced a gathering in the Catskills that wants to make sure all partiers clean their plate in order to fuel their four days of fun. That's why each ticket for the mysterious crew's Members Campout festival comes with three square meals a day while you rave your Memorial Day weekend away—an acknowledgement that the best way to form a close community might just be good old-fashioned family-style dining.

Well-nourished attendees will need the energy to keep up with an excellent selection of underground techno talent on the bill, including Âme (DJ Set), DJ Tennis, Blond:ish, M.A.N.D.Y., Tim Sweeney and DJ Three, who will be providing beats throughout the weekend (except for the community-imposed quiet time that will allow campers to rest, take a swim, attend a talk or do some yoga. There's even movie nights planned!).

In keeping with the homespun ethos, there are no glamping options at this lakeside retreat. But since New Yorkers tend to be light on owning their own tents and sleeping bags, Members Campout are offering really cheap ($60 per person) bungalow options that you can book with a group of 8 to 12. Or the organizers are happy to pair smaller groups and solo travelers with their new best friends, because the one thing that brings people closer than eating together is sharing a bunk bed.

Tickets are already on sale, starting at $300 (early bird) and ending at $350 for the full weekend. Those with commitment issues can snag a Sunday and Monday only tickets for $200. Just pack a change of clothes and some sneakers you don't mind ruining. Members Campout will deal with the rest.
