Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins was arrested early this morning on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI and a driver's license violation—and now he's already been released by the team, according to the Tampa Bay Times Bucs beat reporter Rick Shroud.

Shortly before Shroud reported the news, Seferian-Jenkins tweeted out the following:

Seferian-Jenkins was pulled over around 3:42am this morning, after having been discovered driving nearly 25 mph over the 55 mph speed limit. He was allegedly weaving back and forth and even cut off a Florida Highway Patrol trooper with a reckless lane change.

The FHP said that Seferian-Jenkins had "glassy eyes" and "performed poorly" on his field sobriety tests and declined to use the breathalyzer, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

In March 2013, Seferian-Jenkins pleaded guilty to a DUI while he was at the University of Washington.

For their game on Sunday, the Bucs will likely have to look to rookies Alan Cross and Danny Vitale to fill Seferian-Jenkins' role, as tight end Luke Stocker is out with an ankle injury.
