Numbskull Alabama Fan Finds Time to Say "Roll Tide" While Getting Arrested on TV

So you shout out Alabama before you shout out your mom—while getting arrested? I'm guessing she's not going to be saying just "hey" back.

Roll. fucking. Tide. Say you're getting arrested for something stupid like partying too hard while underaged—weed, whip-its, Xanax, "unbelievable amounts of alcohol"—and you realize that you're going to be on some even more stupid puritanical shame-porn, cop-glorification TV show, what do you say? "Hey mom?" Check. But also, "Roll Tide?" Double check.

During A&E's cop-porn show "Live PD," several young men were being arrested in Walton County, Florida for what police basically depict as too much partying for underaged kids. The initial complaint seemed legit: apparently, they received a call about "kids in the street—one possibly running nude—and it sounded like maybe a female and two guys trying to catch her," according to one officer. That sounds potentially no good. But then the cops became intent on cuffing a bunch of partying underaged kids? Well, malright.

Anyway—police efficiency aside—as one of these actually fairly coherent-sounding kids was getting cuffed, he asked, "I'm on TV?" to which the cop responded, "yup," to which the kid says, "Oh, Roll Tide. Hey, mom." The cop, understandably, gave out a chuckle. But wait: you shout out Alabama before you shout out your mom—while getting arrested? I'm guessing she's not going to be saying just "hey" back.

(Also, note the bonus camo Curry jersey, as well as maybe a throwback Isiah Thomas Pistons jersey? Sports.)
