This video is about Beach Rugby Chaos....Dozens got involved in fighting on the pitch, four teams expelled, police and security called for to sort the chaos.

The tournament got under way around 11am and as it reached its conclusion at about 3pm fighting between the teams began on the sand pitches. 

First of all it was two, and then four, and then ten and with in minutes over thirty were brawling on the sand. People on the side lines ran onto the pitch too get involved which made matters worse. The referee completely lost control of the situation and the organisers called for security and the police.

Players were violently pushing and shoving each other, some throwing punches with a clench fist. Security held down some players onto the sand too calm them down. The police moved some of the aggressive players away from the fight.

On the steps, thousands of spectators surged forward to see what was going on, this could of caused them too go over the top and fall onto hundreds sitting below! 

And only minutes later another fight broke out on the pitch. This time spectators on the side line ran on the pitch and attacked a player which then in turn started another mass fight. Again the referee lost control and the organisers called for security and the police for the second time too sort out the chaos.

All four teams were expelled from the tournament and future tournaments. 

Many mothers with children expressed their worries about the amount of alcohol that was present that day, it was obvious that players were under the influence of alcohol and appeared to be drunk before they went onto the pitch too play.

Was alcohol a contributory factor?

The event is very long, starts at 11am and finishes around 6pm and if you have been drinking alcohol in that period come 4pm you must be very unfit too play any game.

In many ways, this has been the Summer of Wales. Typically overshadowed on the world stage by England, Scotland and Ireland, the Welsh stormed into the headlines in recent months, first with a surprise semifinal berth in Euro 2016, then by tag-teaming with their English brethren to pass Brexit (suck it, Scotland and Northern Ireland!).

Who are these mysterious people from the hinterlands of the British Isles, the land of dragons and unpronounceable towns like [Llanfairpwllgwyngyll](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Llanfairpwllgwyngyll), and what do they do in their leisure time?

They play beach Touch Rugby, as it turns out. Oh, and they fight.

This footage comes from the 11th installment of the Beach Rugby Wales touch rugby tournament, which took place last weekend in Swansea. Two matches were interrupted (Porth vs. Wattstown, Ferndale vs. Rhigos) and all four teams got involved in the brawl before all was said and done. Police and security intervened, and all four teams were ejected from the tournament.

I believe the announcer summed it up best: "Teams, this is only touch. I know it's physical touch, but that's a bit too physical. Alright?"

But this is still rugby, after all, and rugby brawls aren't to be taken too seriously, as legendary English flanker (and Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) Neil Back reminds us:
