Swansea Have All But Handed Leicester the Title in the First Half

The Fox was always meant to get the Swan.

Oh, things are tense right now for the Leicester crew. As they vie for the top slot of the Premier League, today's matchup against low-table Swansea City proves to be every bit as important as any other. Despite their clearance of five points over hot-on-the-heels Hotspur, there are still three (and three-quarters) games left, and as we all well know, anything can happen in the ever-dramatic EPL in the months of April and May. Three points is life and death.

Well, Swansea appeared to be favorable to Leicester's plight, as, within the first ten minutes, Swansea fullback Ashley Williams cleared the ball straight into Leicester's Riyad Mahrez for what would seem like an easy goal. In actuality, Mahrez's goal made for an impressive technical feat. A deep cutback and a pinpoint bullet to the near post. Delightful.

Then, no more than 20 minutes later, a free kick sent in by (the delightfully-surnamed) Danny Drinkwater picked out a ready-and-willing Leonardo Ulloa for a peach of a set piece.

The Fox was always meant to get the Swan (groan), but let's hold out and see if they have something up their sleeves in the second half.
