Amy Schumer Perfectly Lampoons Football's Rape Culture

Amy Schumer did a 'Friday Night Lights' parody about football's rape culture.

Last night, Inside Amy Schumer put together a great send up of the show Friday Night Lights and football culture in general. Josh "Knox Overstreet" Charles plays the new coach in town who's got a whole bunch of rules that his team must follow. Most importantly, his guys can't rape anyone anymore. "If you don't like it, don't let the door rape you on the way out."

The rest of the sketch is the players, parents, and town trying, and failing, to understand how a football team is supposed to operate with such an outrageous credo. One of his assistants actually throws down his clipboard and storms out of the locker room. It's a funny premise, perfectly executed with a nice zinger about how we talk to athletes at the end during the coach's halftime pep talk.
