Ryan Adams Just Released a Cover Album of Taylor Swift's '1989'

It sounds like something Springsteen might have released on 'The Promise,' which is to say it sounds great.

At the beginning of August, Ryan Adams told the world he was working on a cover of Taylor Swift's album 1989 in its entirety. Swift fanned the fuck out, and for the past month and a half everybody's been eagerly awaiting the release. The album dropped today, and is now for sale on iTunes and streaming on Spotify.

It sounds like something Springsteen might have released on The Promise, that compilation album that came with the 2010 Darkness on the Edge of Town reissue, which is to say that it sounds great. "Out of the Woods" also has a whole Replacements thing going on, too. Give it a listen below.
