Today, I had the honor of talking about a piece we just published: Robert Rath’s In Thailand, Buddhist Monks Grapple With the Meaning of Video Games, for VICE’s Guide to Right Now podcast. That’s a lot of proper nouns! But host Ankita Rao and I had a good talk about the piece, how our frequent freelance writer Robert Rath conceived of the idea, and how he found the monks of Wat Chedi Luang in Chiang Mai, Thailand, to illuminate him on their perspective on games and life.
