Robby Anderson, the New York Jets's No. 1 wide receiver, was arrested on Friday in Sunrise, Florida on a whole host of charges. Since being arrested around 2:15 AM this morning, Anderson, 24, is facing nine charges, including felony fleeing and eluding police, resisting arrest, reckless driving, running a red light, exceeding the speed limit by 50 mph or more, and felony threatening a public servant, among other things, according to NJ.com. But it's that last one that's a real doozy.

According to NJ.com's Connor Hughes, there is a brief moment in the police transcript in which Anderson threatens to find an officer's wife, "fuck" her and then "nut in her eye." There are a couple of ways to handle the police when you're in trouble, and this was a strong approach. Here's the excerpt:

Per the police report, an officer was conducting a traffic stop when they saw a white SUV zoom by him, clocking in at 105 in a 45 mph zone. But don't worry. Anderson slowed down to 45 mph before running a red light. So he was being cautious. He also failed to maintain his lane.

Nearly a half-hour before his arrest, Anderson sent a string of cryptic tweets, starting at 1:27am:

The Jets released a statement saying they were aware of the situation, but would not be commenting on a "pending legal matter."

Last year, Anderson was arrested at a music festival on a "felony count of resisting arrest with violence and obstruction of justice." He is due in court for a trial on those charges in March.
