Every Saturday, Creators premieres a new issue from net art platform and artist collective, FELT Zine.
The boundless imagination of Dutch artist Olga Fedorova is captured perfectly in the incomprehensibly surreal interior scenes made for the 35th issue of FELT Zine. Although she is known for her painting and sculpture, Fedorova's most recent work focuses mostly on creating 3D images through an extremely free fashion process. For this issue, she used various techniques of digital art production to explore different modes of free association. Through this process, Fedorova constructs highly experimental dream sequences that present the body in perplexing, sometimes disturbing forms and contexts.
The artist's enthusiastic interest in psychology focuses on the way in which new technology has infiltrated her personal life. Her compositions picture bizarre scenarios that incorporate symbolic references to sexuality, technology, pop culture, and the typical art gallery atmosphere.
