Start your day with VICE Sports. Here's our morning roundup of the sports news from around the world.

Good morning, America. Welcome to the VICE Sports World News Roundup. Be sure to stop by daily for your morning headlines.

It's the 24th of July, 2015, and Sepp Blatter is still president of FIFA.

VISA CEO Charlie Scharf torched FIFA in a conference call about company earnings. According to Scharf, VISA, which is one of FIFA's main corporate sponsors, is not at all happy with how FIFA has dealt with the ongoing corruption scandal. Via the Guardian:

"We believe two things need to happen to ensure credible reform. First, an independent, third-party commission led by one or more impartial leaders is critical to formulate reforms. Second, we believe no meaningful reform can be made under Fifa's existing leadership."

Hulk, the Brazilian superstar playing for Russia's Zenit Saint Petersburg, has pulled out of tomorrow's World Cup qualifying draw in Russia. He had been set to lend a little star power to the FIFA event (some outlets are reporting he was uninvited). The controversy has to do with his recent statements about racism in Russian soccer, which by many accounts is out of control. Hulk has been outspoken on the issue. Racism "happens at almost every match in Russia but the world does not hear about it because they try to keep it quiet," he said Monday.

Mexico legend Hugo Sánchez has come forward to denounce the terribly-refereed/suspicious semifinal Gold Cup match in which Mexico beat Panama 2-1 thanks to two late penalties. (In the previous round, Mexico also beat Costa Rica on a late penalty). As the New York Times pointed out, the game is a particular problem for CONCACAF, which has gone through numerous match fixing scandals over the last half decade. Fan confidence is low. "It embarrasses me," Sánchez said. "Mexico doesn't deserve to be in the final."

The Pan Am Games equestrian competition began yesterday. Some horses jumped. Some did not.

UEFA has fined Barcelona 30,000 euros because Barca fans waved Catalan flags at the Champions League final in Berlin. It's a strange case for UEFA to take a stand on. Flags of all kinds are commonplace in stadiums around Europe, and in this particular case, UEFA organized the match, not Barcelona.

Markus Rehm, a long jumper who won the German Championship last year, has been made ineligible for future championships. The issue has to do with his prosthetic leg, which other jumpers argue gives him an advantage. He's still allowed to compete, but he just can't win anything.

Yellow-jersey-wearer Chris Froome continues to dominate the Tour de France while continuing to receive criticism that he's too good to be clean. Froome seems pretty relaxed about the controversy. Here he is with current No. 2, Nairo Quintana Rojas. Just a couple of regular dudes.

In a practice session for the Hungarian Grand Prix, Sergio Perez spun out and flipped his car. He was okay.
