Keeping up with Young Thug can give you emotional whiplash. Back in February, he was spending more money on security than he made on "Safe," a candid, still paranoid track full of wistful yelps and near-jazz flows. Four weeks later, he was grounding the Calvin Harris summer banger "Heatstroke" alongside Ariana Grande and Pharrell, dropping lines like, "King of the jungle, tycoon / Everybody thinking that's a cartoon." His refrain on that track: "Let's have a good time.""All The Time," released late Friday night, is a little more equivocal, a little more luxurious, and features a chorus that's built around tampons. Thugger goes off about buying the new Louis Vuitton and his desire to "fuck every bitch under the sun," but he's more strung-out than he is thrilled.
