Aoki spoke with tears in his eyes from behind a podium at Madison Square Garden where he discussed his career long progression from the the live rock music space to playing a opening residency at NYC's Marquee Nightclub and the humbling experience of announcing a headline show at the famed New York arena. Steve described the news as "the ultimate journey of an artist" and took the time to thank his devoted fans and even discussed how proud his father would be to see his son playing at such a legendary space. "We're going to turn this place upside down and make a statement—it's an experience beyond a show for me. It's a place where I can be myself."

Neon Future's lead single, "Rage The Night Away," featuring Waka Flocka Flame drops today while Aoki and some of his party-starting friends (including Waka Flaka) are storming into the Big Apple to announce their throw down for one legendary night at the famed home to the Knicks and Rangers. Aoki joins the ranks of Armin van Buuren and Swedish House Mafia as the few DJs who have headlined MSG.
