RGIII Forced to Apologize for Liking Instagram Post that Called Dan Snyder a "Sorry Ass" Owner

RGIII liked a post on Instagram that was complimentary to him, and critical of Dan Snyder. Get out the knives.

We've reached the point in the RGIII saga where we hyper-analyze his every move, including the things he "likes" on social media, in the most damaging light possible. Last night, the wizards at Barstool pointed out that Griffin "liked" a post on Instagram that was critical of Dan Snyder. The post also expressed disappointment at the way RGIII had been handled, praised him for his work ethic, and promised to always remain a fan. But the post also called Snyder "a sorry ass team owner."

Of course, this is incontrovertibly true and if anyone in that organization deserves heaping spoonfuls of scorn it is Snyder. But RGIII is now a human punching bag, so let's all get our licks in. And let's make sure Griffin apologizes because nothing is worse in sports than disloyalty to the team.

Here's the offending Instagram post.

In Griffin's apology post, he wrote "I did not "like" that IG post ridiculing our team. I have not been social media active consistently for awhile now and am ultra-focused on working to get back on the field and trying to help this team. One of our interns who helps with Instagram liked the post. As soon as I was made aware of it, it was immediately unliked. That is not how I feel and I appreciate your understanding."

Was it actually an intern? Probably not. Should he have to blame an intern because he liked some things a fan said about him? Definitely not. His life would have been easier if he hadn't done it, but man, just walk this one through step by step and it's all so farcical.

1. Fan writes nice things about RGIII.

2. Also writes some negative stuff about Dan Snyder.

3. (Who is unquestionably a dipshit.)

4. RGIII hits a button indicating he "likes" this particular post.

5. Public grumbles about how "you can't like stuff criticizing your boss."

6. (The boss is Unquestionable Dipshit Dan Snyder.)

7. RGIII apologizes for passive social media interaction.

You couldn't pay me enough to put up with that kind of bullshit.
