K.J. McDaniels was a three-star recruit coming out of Central Park Christian High School in Birmingham, Alabama. He was doubted and overlooked by most major colleges, but Clemson, however, was different. They saw star potential in the 6-6, 200lb. forward. And after earning first-team All-ACC last year, as well as earning the ACC Defensive Player of the Year award, the kid who only eats food that his mom suggests or makes is about to see his life change drastically. KJ took some time out of his hectic schedule to sit down with us so we can delve into the mind of a future NBA phenom.
