Last week we helped you choose who to roll with. This week we help you deal with your parents and your boyfriend's taste in music. Just remember that Ravin is here for the kids.Got a burning question for our That's So Ravin? Email her with your thoughts, dilemmas, and all-out rants at ravin.samoan@vice.com

Dear Ravin,
My boyfriend is a really well known DJ/producer and I am really proud of him but I absolutely hate the music he makes. He always asks me what I think of things and I pretend that I think it's great but I just can't deal with going out to his DJ nights with his terrible friends. What do I do?
Christine, Ft. Lauderdale

Dear Christine,
Are you with him for his music or are you with him for him? I mean, if you read my post to "Jessica" here you'll see that I believe the music makes the man. If you are proud of him like you say you are and you still wanna bone him then cool. But if you are constantly cringing behind your back and rolling your eyes at his friends every night how happy are you really? Here's your new theme song.

Dear Ravin,
My mom and dad have gotten really into EDM. Help!
Anonymous, San Luis Obispo

Dear Anonymous,
Ouch! That's gotta be the worst! Every time a parent taps their foot to EDM a festie angel loses it's wings. Fuck! I don't know what to tell you. Maybe you should start playing their old favorites around the house. Blast some JoeJackson, Eurythmics, A-Ha, Erasure.Hell, blast some Michael Bolton if you have to. Dig deep, turn up the bass, and get your groove on. Let them see what it feels like to watch you imitate their youth and see how they like it.
