Matt Gaetz’s family gatherings are about to get even more awkward.

Roxanne Luckey, the younger sister of Gaetz’s fiancée Ginger Luckey, posted a series of TikToks in the last fews days detailing her hatred of Gaetz, the right-wing Florida congressman who’s currently the subject of a federal investigation for potential sex trafficking.

Luckey has since made her TikTok and Twitter accounts private. But before that, she posted a video of herself with a New York Times story as the background and a Lana Del Ray song as the soundtrack, with the caption: “When a creepy old man tries to hit on you at the bar but your sisters engaged to a literal pedophile.”

On Monday, the 20-year-old Luckey—who was an intern in the Trump White House last summer, which she posted about in an earlier video—posted two videos detailing what she said was an attempt by Gaetz to set her up with a friend who was divorced and in his 40s, while she was 19.

Luckey said that while she was an intern, the man told her that Gaetz “kept telling me that I should ask you out, that we’d be great together,” and that the man pushed her to break up with her boyfriend in order to date him. “He later texted me and said, ‘Sorry about what I said, I just wanted to get Matt off my back,” Luckey said.

When she confronted Gaetz last year at a Thanksgiving gathering, Luckey said, Gaetz lost it and “started yelling at me and my mom. He called me a narcissist, which was 1000% gaslighting me.”

Though the FBI or Department of Justice has not confirmed a probe into Gaetz, the congressman himself confirmed in April that he was being investigated. Gaetz’s ex-girlfriend is cooperating with authorities in the sex trafficking investigation, CNN reported in May

Gaetz’s former associate, ex-Seminole County tax collector Joel Greenberg, pleaded guilty in May to six federal charges including soliciting a minor for sex. Despite all of this, Gaetz has resisted calls to resign, and recently toured the country with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene pumping up disgruntled Trump supporters who wrongly believe that the 2020 election was stolen.

“When everything came out about him, I unfortunately was not surprised,” Luckey said in another video, adding that she “heard kind of through the grapevine” that Gaetz “had a reputation for prowling after college girls when he’s a grown man, and to me, that’s just kind of weird.”

Luckey said she was coming forward as someone “who has personally experienced a ton of creepy old politician men hitting on me when I was underage.”

In a statement to the Daily Beast, Gaetz’s fiancé said her “estranged sister is mentally unwell.”

“She has been in therapy for years and our family hopes that after receiving in-patient mental health treatment, she will overcome the tendency she has repeatedly shown to engage in destructive behavior,” Ginger Luckey told the Daily Beast.

“Congressman Gaetz supports his fiancée and her statement,” Gaetz spokesperson Harlan Hill told VICE News in an email.
