The Canadian politician who accidentally appeared naked on Zoom during a meeting last month has now accidentally peed on camera during a work meeting. William Amos, a Liberal MP for Pontiac, Quebec, announced the incident in a statement posted to social media Thursday night.

"Last night while attending House of Commons proceedings virtually, in a non-public setting, I urinated without realizing I was on camera,” Amos wrote. “I am deeply embarrassed by my actions and the distress they may have caused anyone who witnessed them.

“While accidental and not visible to the public, this was completely unacceptable and I apologize unreservedly."

Amos added he will be taking a break from his parliamentary advisory and committee duties after his latest exposure so he “can seek assistance.” The incident is just weeks removed from when he accidentally exposed himself to his colleagues on camera while changing after a jog.

“My camera was accidentally left on as I changed into work clothes after going for a jog. I sincerely apologize to all my colleagues in the House. It was an honest mistake (and) it won’t happen again,” Amos said after the first incident.

Another Quebec politician, Bloc Québécois MP Sebastien Lemire, screenshotted an image of Amos while nude that was eventually leaked to the press.

Amos was initially the punchline of jokes in media and political circles but, eventually, the conversation changed to being about the sharing of nude images of people without their consent.

“You’re either laughing at someone who’s having the worst experience of their life or you're laughing at people who were subjected to nudity without their consent at work. I just can’t find an angle where that would be funny to me,” Ottawa-based sexual violence prevention educator Julie Lalonde told VICE World News at the time.

Lemire has since apologized for screenshotting the image but asserts he was not the one who leaked it to the media.
