Party With VICE and the British Council at Ring of Fire

This is our second party and, from the looks of it, it's going to be so much fun. We collaborated with the British Council to bring over Paranoid London, Afrikan Boy and more. We even convinced Direct Action, featuring Tyo Nugros, of Dewa 19 fame, to hit the stage for their first-ever live performance. It's all shaping up to be a can't-miss event. Plus it's on a Sunday. What else do you have going on? Binge watching Mindhunter?—Regan Reuben

Binge-Watch the New Netflix Series 'Mindhunter'

The new series Mindhunter is made for binge watching. First of all, it's being produced by David Fincher, of Fight Club, Zodiac, and Panic Room, and Charlize Theron, of Monster, Mad Max: Fury Road, and Atomic Blonde, so you know it's going to be amazing. Add in Australian playwrite Joe Penhall, he wrote The Road, and a plot about interviewing serial killers and you probably have a hit.

But the best thing about Mindhunter, at least for me, is that the series promises to be more academic than sensationalistic." That means each episode is a slow burn instead of an intense AF thriller, making it perfect for people who are easily scared like me. I'm three episodes in and I like how realistic the story is so far. Nobody is being A Hot Insufferable Genius (like Cumberbatch's Sherlock), and the two agents don't solve a new case every episode (like in Criminal Minds). Personally, I can't wait to see more. — Syarafina Vidyadhana

Get a Heavy Dose of Childhood Nostalgia With the 'Powerpuff Girls'

Look, I know this isn't something new, but after the month we've had, we could all use a shot of the Powerpuff Girls awesome power. When I was a kid, I would watch the show for Buttercup because I had a serious superiority complex about not being like other girls. Now that I'm old enough to realize that all those feelings were just some internalized misogyny, I watch the show for a laugh.

What other show lets you escape into a world where kindergarten girls are out there saving the world evert single day. When the real world looks grim, I'm thankful we still have Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup there to back us up with their ass-kicking powers. —Katyusha Methanis

Tune-In to the NBA's New Season

That's right. The 2017-2018 NBA season has just started. It has only been a few days, but plenty of juicy stories already occurred. On the opening night, LeBron James went head-to-head with former teammate Kyrie Irving as Cavaliers beat Boston Celtics by a mere three points. The Celtic's new All Star addition Gordon Hayward broke his ankle on the first quarter and may have to sit out the whole season. Not exciting enough for you?

How about the fact that reigning champion Golden State Warriors were beaten by the Rocket's new duo James Harden-Chris Paul in front of their home supporters after Durant's last shot was released less than a second too late. The NBA has always been about tales of redemption and greatness. Can three-headed monsters OKC challenge Warriors in the West? Will Lakers be relevant again? Will Warriors confirm their dynasty this season? —Yudhistira Agato
