Billionaire philanthropist Budi Tek wants to make it rain—without getting you wet, of course. Earlier this year, Tek announced plans to bring a bigger, updated version of rAndom International's Rain Room installation to Shanghai. According to The Art Newspaper, at Art Basel in Hong Kong, the Chinese-Indonesian agribusiness tycoon divulged details on what he calls an "art theme park," a 15-hectare complex to open in Bali in 2018. Featuring monumental works, including Anselm Kiefer's rusting submarine vitrines, the partially-underground museum should be awe-inspiring, but it may not be cheap.

“I’m putting a 150 square meter Rain Room in the rainforest,” said Tek, before explaining, “We haven’t decided yet if there will be an admission charge. I’m hoping that visitors will spend at least $100 in the shop and restaurant on site.” Further details on the park, however, are TBA.

So, how much would you spend to visit Rain Room in Bali? Check out our documentary on the installation, and name your price in the comments section, below.
